Nala is trying to win cash for homeless pets. Please help! #contests #sweepstakes

Petfinder is ringing in 2013 by celebrating the luckiest adopted pets around.

Well, If you recall, Nala was one of the #Straysinthehood
She went from sleeping outside, afraid of everything and everyone to one of the most pampered
pets around.

Nala and Precious get along really well.  Their temperaments are very similar.

Which was why we decided early on to keep her.

I just love watching her come out of her shell.

Although she had a rough time at first fitting in.

She had no problem embracing the good life.

Please log in and vote for Nala http://shar.es/YNEX5

If she  wins, a  $5,000 donation will go to Pitbull rescue of Oklahoma. http://www.pbroklahoma.com/

Strays in the hood: Deuce the Brindle Pitbull

Guess who's all spoiled rotten and ready to be adopted. It's Deuce! Deuce has recovered well after being neutered last week. His energy level has not changed a bit.

Already spoiled, Deuce now has a place on the couch.

Ready to jump in the car and ride where ever you want to go

Awww, Look at that face.

His first long walk on the leash, Deuce did a great job.  He got a little freaked out by a few bikers, but by the third one, he was cool.  He did a great job of walking next to me, but he really wanted to run.

Note:  I haven't posted a lot about Nala because it looks like we're keeping her :)

Dalmatian Assistance League, Inc Tulsa, OK #pet #Adoption

Score!
Our friends at Natural Balance, had such a successful Rose Parade 2012.   Did you see Tillman and his friends surfing?!

Precious and I were happy to blog and tweet about Tillman and the world's longest and heaviest float.

As her payment, Precious scored a bunch of her favorite Tillman Treats.

Precious wanted to make sure she shared her favorite treats with local animals in need here in Tulsa.

During a trip to Pooches Doggie Day Care, I asked if they knew of a local rescue that could use some Tillman treats.
Sharing is caring
I was told about the Dalmatian Assistance League, Inc. run by the owners of Pooches.
 How cool is that?!

On our next trip to Pooches, Precious dropped on an assorted case of Tillman treats.

Check out the video below to learn more about the Dalmatian Assistance League, Inc and meet my new pal Deuce.  He's up for adoption and we want to help get him a furever home this month.  Cameo by Precious aka @Imajackrussell.

Feel free to Tweet this post, or the video to help spread to word about DAL and Deuce!
